West Course at Hyatt Dorado Beach Golf Club

The Hyatt Dorado Beach Golf Club is located just 30 minutes west of San Juan, in the coastal town of Dorado. The West Course is one of two eighteen hole golf courses at the Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort. Both courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in the late 1950's, and rank among the best in the world. The Dorado Beach East Course hosted the PGA Tour's World Cup of Golf in November 1994, and the Senior PGA event in November 1999.

This course is built on flat terrain, with a tropical rain forest theme, and some outstanding views of the ocean. The Greens and Fairways are covered in Bermuda Grass. There's water hazards in play and plenty of sand traps. It's estimated that the number of rounds played annually runs into the 60,000's.
