Aguirre Golf Club
Located about an hour's drive from San Juan, this 9-hole golf course, with it's rustic look, is the oldest in Puerto Rico (circa 1926). It's a par-72 of Bermuda grass over rough terrain. The rolling landscapes displays many 100-year-old trees, narrow fairways and challenging greens. Expect some uneven lies. A lake comes into play on 2 holes. An additional set of men's tees can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. It's an excellent place for beginners. The number of rounds played annually runs into the 65,000's.

Travel Directions:	Take route 18 south from highway 22 in San Juan. Route 18 becomes route 52 just passed Rio Piedras. Continue south on route 52 to the southern coast and exit at route 53. From route 53 catch road 7708 to route 3 west. Route 705 is less than a mile away. Take route 705 to Aguirre. The golf club is located next to the police department in Aguirre.
