Fort Buchanan Golf Club

The Fort Buchanan Golf Club is located in Guaynabo on about 700 acres of the United States Military Post, Fort Buchanan. This 9-hole Bermuda Grass course is open to Military & Members Only. It was designed by Military Personnel and built in the 1940's. It's a regulation nine hole course with small and level greens. The Greens and Fairways are covered in Bermuda Grass. A water hazard in the form of a pond comes into play on one hole. A restaurant is located on the premises. The Post is also host to the "only Major Army Command headquarters in the Caribbean region since the mid-1960s."

Travel Directions:	The Fort Buchanan Golf Club is located just 30 minutes west of San Juan. From San Juan use Road 1 to reach Highway 2 and head west. The Buchanan complex is located a short drive down the road in Guaynabo. Get off at the Fort Buchanan exit and make a right. Take this road to the entrance gate of the base, and ask the sentry for directions to the clubhouse.
